The Goose Creek Recreation Department has a number of rental facilities and party packages available for private functions.

TO RESERVE A ROOM:
Completed rental contract + $100 security deposit required.
Full payment is due 4 weeks prior to the rental date.
Rental time must include set up & breakdown time. NO RENTALS PAST 6:30 PM.

Joseph S. Daning Amphitheater Additional Information:
- Joseph Daning Amphitheater Rental Booking Dates will be available starting January 2025
- Rental requests must be made in person, or by contacting Amy Stephenson at [email protected] | 843-569-4242 ext. 5308 (please leave a voicemail with contact information to receive a return call).
- Required City employee staffing of all rentals will be determined by the appropriate City of Goose Creek personnel.
- Each rental will require a minimum of one City employee at a rate of $35.00 per hour. Additional maintenance crew / cleaning staff will be $30.00 per hour as needed.
- Additional roll carts (trash receptacles) will be required for all amphitheater event rentals. The cost of this rental is $25 per roll cart.
- *A security/damage deposit is due at the time of reservation approval. This deposit may be retained by the City to pay for any damage caused to the park or facility or any costs incurred by the City due to the cause of the facility by the applicant's party. A larger deposit may be required if the City reasonably determines that the risk of any damage to the City property from the event exceeds the minimum deposit. The customer is responsible for any damage to City property that is not covered by the security/damage deposit.
- Refunds will be distributed on a pro-rated basis as follows:
- 30 days out: Full Refund
- 0-29 days out: 50% Refund
- Additional lighting and sound are not included in rental pricing and are the responsibility of the applicant and must be delivered on the day of the event.
- FULL DAY Employee Staffing is defined as a minimum of 8 HOURS (not to exceed 14 HOURS)
- HALF DAY Employee Staffing is defined as a minimum of 4 HOURS
