Sanitation Division
The Sanitation Division is responsible for collecting the following refuse from all City of Goose Creek residents:
- Household garbage
- Yard debris
- Metal goods
- Owner-generated construction material
- Used household furnishing
City residents receive one green trash container/roll cart for their residential trash. If you are a new resident please call 843-824-2200 to set up your service and receive your roll cart.
All types of bulky items will be removed on your collection day, but must be scheduled ahead of time for pick up. Very large items such as storage sheds, garage doors, or trailers should be dismantled into 4 feet long sections. Doors on refrigerators and freezers need to be removed for safety reasons.

Request a bulk-item pickup using our online form. Bulk items are picked up on your normal residential trash pickup day.
The Sanitation Division offers side door collection to individuals with disabilities or senior citizens who are unable to carry house refuse to the curb. You may contact our office at 843-824-2200 to set up this service. Household garbage, yard debris, and other materials are collected once a week.
