Venue Policies
General Information
- Bags: All guests are subject to bag searches and various levels of screening subject to artist or management discretion. Please note the Clear Bag Policy below.
- Chairs: Lawn chairs, beach chairs, and bag chairs are allowed at the Amphitheater. Chairs with covers and canopies are prohibited at the venue.
- Weather: All City-sponsored events are rain-or-shine events, unless threatening weather rolls in. Check the Daning Amphitheater website or social media pages for delays or cancellations. We ask for your prompt cooperation should you hear an announcement pertaining to threatening weather.
- Umbrellas: You may bring personal-sized umbrellas, but they must be taken down as soon as the concert begins.
- Tickets: Tickets are required for admission into City events.
- Tickets can only be scanned ONE time for an event.
- Eventbrite requires user sign-in to access event tickets. For smoother entry, please have tickets ready to scan at the gates.
- Children ages 2 and under are not required to have a ticket for entry.
- Re-entry is not permitted. Please ensure that everything you will need for the event is brought in with you. If you do leave at any point during a show, you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket.
- Identification is not required to enter the venue.
- No Overnight Camping Allowed. If lining up during the day, bring water/sunscreen, as shade is limited. Restroom access at the Recreation Center is limited before the doors open for an event.
- Food and Beverage: The Daning Amphitheater will have food and beverage trucks on-site. Please note that all vendors will be cashless.
- Cards and NFC Tap payments are the ONLY forms of payment available.
- Rentals: Tables are not available to rent, reserve, or purchase at events. Click here for our venue rental guide.
- Lost and Found
- For items lost during an event, attendees can visit the Info tent located by the Truck Truck Goose sign for assistance.
- Any items left behind after an event will be discarded if unclaimed by Monday afternoon at 5PM (following the event). We are not responsible for anything left at the Amphitheater before, during, or after an event. Please be aware that the Amphitheater is an open park.

Bag Policy
- To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, we have implemented the following bag policy: we allow clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12").
- Guests who arrive with an unapproved bag will be required to return the bag to their vehicle.
- Medical bags are PERMITTED at the Daning Amphitheater.
- There is no bag storage at the Amphitheater.
Prohibited Items
- No outside food or beverage with the exception of TWO factory-sealed bottles of water permitted per person. Reusable cups and bottles are not allowed at the venue.
- Bags that do not meet our updated Bag Policy (above).
- No pets with the exception of aids and service animals for people with disabilities.
- No firearms or weapons regardless of permit. No items that may be interpreted as a potential weapon and/or compromise public safety, including sharp or pointed objects (e.g., knives, large corkscrews)
- No alcohol
- No drugs
- No smoking or vaping
- No glass bottles or cans
- No grills (gas or charcoal)
- No coolers
- No motorized vehicles
- No hoverboards, skateboards, or segways
- No fireworks
- No drones
- No professional cameras (those with detachable lenses), video and audio recording devices (including GoPros or tablets) unless with Media Credential
- No selfie sticks
Permitted Items
These items are allowed inside of the Joseph S. Daning Amphitheater.
- Attendees may bring a maximum of TWO factory-sealed water bottles (two per person)
- Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities
- Small blankets
- Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12")
- Portable cell phone chargers
- Raincoat / Poncho
- Small handheld portable fan / neck fan
