We all rise: Goose Creek breaks ground on County's first all accessible park

The City of Goose Creek held a groundbreaking on Thursday, March 31 for what will be a game-changing addition to Goose Creek Recreation.
It's one thing to be recognized as the "Number One Place to Live in South Carolina" by Money Magazine. It's another thing to ensure residents of all ages and abilities have access to high-quality experiences that provide the chance to develop a fit, healthy lifestyle and inclusive frame of mind.
Central Creek Park, located at 101 Old Moncks Corner Road, will be the flagship experience in the City's ongoing commitment to serving our community with excellent health, wellness, recreation, and social activities that enhance our awareness, connectivity, and quality of life.
"Today, we are breaking ground on the first all accessible and inclusive park in the area," Mayor Habib told a gathering of over 100 City and regional leaders at Thursday's groundbreaking. "And it will be here to serve all who need it."
