Registration for fall sports underway

Registration has begun for fall baseball, softball, soccer and middle school volleyball leagues at the City of Goose Creek Recreation Department.
Participants must show proof of residency with a driver’s license and current utility bill with current address. Renters must also bring their original rental agreement. Registration for sports is only accepted at the Goose Creek Community Center.
Soccer registration runs July 3 to 20. Leagues are available for boys and girls ages 4 to 15. League fees are $40/player. Players will receive a team shirt, shorts, and socks.
Fall baseball and softball registration runs July 24 to Aug. 10. Leagues are offered for baseball players ages 9 to 15 and softball players 9 to 12. League fees are $40/player.
Players will receive a hat and shirt. All teams will travel to other locations around the area.
Middle school volleyball registration will be held July 24 to Aug. 10. Middle school volleyball league is for students entering sixth, seventh or eighth grade and eventually entering Stratford or Goose Creek High Schools. Games will be played at the Community Center and other locations around the area.
The league fee is $35/player for residents and $70/non-residents and includes a team jersey.
