City of Goose Creek Gymnasts will have the unique opportunity to meet Olympics great Gabby Douglas this November.

Gabby will visit Goose Creek Wednesday, Nov. 7 to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and to give gymnasts a magical day they will never forget. The fundraiser, which began this summer, has been a success.

Fundraising contests for City of Goose Creek gymnasts are continuing until the November visit. The gymnasts who raise the most money during the contest period win awesome experiences with Gabby, including selfies, VIP meet-and-greet, 1-on-1 mentoring, and much more. There are experiences for every age and experience level, from the Gabby Douglas Coloring Club (that's right, you'll color with Gabby!) to the Gabby Douglas Olympic Training Lab.

As gymnasts reach certain fundraising thresholds, they win additional prizes, including the opportunity to attend a clinic with Gabby ($125 raised); photos, autographs and a Q&A with Gabby ($250); and an artist's rendering of Gabby ($500).

Other incentives include the top 30 fundraisers will participate in a private clinic with Gabby; the top 10 will attend a private lunch; and the top 2 will be seated next to Gabby at the lunch.
