County landfill closes due to flooding; Friday's trash pickup will take place Monday

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Goose Creek and Berkeley County Friday morning after the rainfall overnight. Flooding is being reported in several areas — please use extreme caution.
City offices will have a delayed opening Friday, and will open at 10am.
Residential trash pickup will not take place Friday due to the closure of the Berkeley County Landfill. Friday’s pickup will take place on Monday. Next week’s schedule will not be affected.
Crowfield Golf Club’s course is closed for play Friday morning.
