City honors state champion wrestlers

Two State Champion wrestlers were honored at the March 12 Goose Creek City Council meeting.
Goose Creek High School senior Israel Schultz is a 2019 5A State Champion in the 120-lb. weight class, and Stratford High School junior Preston Soriano captured the 2019 5A State Championship in the 126-lb. weight class. Both of these outstanding student-athletes were presented with City Proclamations by Mayor Habib and City Council.
The student-athletes were joined by family and friends at the meeting.
