Mayor Habib
  • You’re invited! Creek Conversations with Mayor Habib set for March 20 & 27, and April 3

  • Feb 25 2025

Mayor Habib will share his annual State of the City update a little differently this year.

Goose Creek residents are invited to Creek Conversations with Mayor Habib – three community town hall meetings that will feature an update from the Mayor, and interaction with attendees.

The meetings will last about an hour, with plenty of time for questions, ideas and discussion. The Mayor will be joined by Chief Roscoe for an update from the Police Department, and City Department heads will also be on hand to answer questions and provide insight.

“I’m looking forward to continuing a conversation I’ve been having with our residents since 2018,” Mayor Habib said. “I encourage everyone to join us.”

The first Creek Conversations takes place at 6pm on Thursday, March 20, at Crowfield’s Planters Walk Clubhouse at 201 Planters Boulevard.

The second town meeting is set for 6pm on Thursday, March 27, at Northwood Church in Carnes Crossroads. It will be held in the church’s Building A.

Finally, at 6pm on Thursday, April 3, a special Creek Conversations will be held at Calvary Church of the Nazarene at 541 Red Bank Road. Brazilian and Spanish translations will be on hand at this event, which is being co-hosted by the Latin Advisory Committee.

All three Creek Conversations with Mayor Habib are open to public, and residents are encouraged to attend the meeting closest to them.
