Portable Storage Units

The City of Goose Creek requires residents to obtain a permit for portable storage units.  Permit fees are based on the size of the unit.  The permit is typically processed within a day or two. 

Portable Storage System Guidelines 

• Unit sizes cannot exceed 20 feet in length
• Use is limited to one unit per structure for a maximum of 30 days
• A unit may not block access or egress to the principal structure and must meet side and rear set back
